You know, there’s nothing to do in the Tri-Valley area when you take guests out of town to the Dublin Heritage Park & Museum! However, this is a wonderful place with excellent teachers who lead the tour of the Kolb House and lead you to other points of interest on the property: the Dublin Pioneer Graveyard, the Murray Schoolhouse, the Old St. Raymond Church and the Sunday School Barn.

If you’re looking for history in Dublin, that’s by far your best bet. The opening hours for museum buildings are minimal, but your best bet is between 1:00 and 4:00 Wednesday through   Sunday. The grounds and cemetery are open all the time, and the cemetery is small but appropriately atmospheric (if you ignore the noise of the freeway). Even when the Kolb House is locked, you can look into the windows.
